Here is a brief list of plugins:

towny - allows players to either create / join towns
trophy heads - when you kill mobs or players there is a chance you can get their heads
iconomy - adds virtual money to the game
Qwicktree - cut the bottom log in a tree with a stone axe or higher
pvptimer - does not allow you to pvp for the first 90 min in the server unless you opt out
chest shop - allows you to sell items of your choosing / purchase items of your choosing
