Tired of OP Faction servers? We are too. We're sick of joining a server only to be immediately slaughtered by people in god armour, people who live in tiny boxes completely submerged in water and buried deep underground. We miss the good old days of Minecraft Factions, when people relied on their brains and PVP skill to survive, not just on how fast they could click with their index fingers. We've been searching and searching for a server to take us back to the "old school", classic days of Factions to no avail, so we decided to make our own!

Age of Iron is a server that combines the best aspects of both old/classic and new/modern Minecraft. We've completely removed diamonds from the game, so that when mined, diamond ore drops gold(which just happens to be the server currency). This, combined with limited enchants, prevents players from getting OP armour/weapons and keeps everyone on an even playing field. As if that weren't enough, we also have a highly experienced staff, made up of very kind and mature people who have held positions on some of the most popular servers on PMC and Minecraft as a whole(Mineplex and The Dark Age to name a few).
