The <strong>Skyblock</strong> gamemode is interesting, in that you start on a small floating island in the sky, with only limited resources and competing players around you. The idea of the game is to use your limited resources, expand your island slowly, and connect with other players around you.
Falling off of your island is a big no-no, and often results in permanent death, long respawn time or other severe penalty. That's why it's always important to be careful while moving on and expanding your island.
